Plantar fasciitis is caused by the band of elastic tissue extending from the heel to the toes, which causes severe pain in the heel and midfoot.
Next, in this video we will show you 3 effective exercises that will help you eliminate the pain in the heels in a simple and effective way.
Exercise 1
Place your feet on the floor with your fingers up as much as you can. Then, take the big toe, pull it gently and hold that position for 20 seconds. Do this procedure with each of the fingers.
Exercise 2
Stand in front of the wall with your arms fully extended and the palms of your hands at your shoulder level pressing the wall. Lift your right foot and stretch it back 6 times for 15 seconds each. Repeat this procedure also with the other foot.
Exercise 3
Sit on the floor with your legs stretched out and with the help of a towel lift your left foot holding the towel at the ends and pulling towards you. Hold this position for 20 seconds. Repeat this procedure also with the other foot.
One of the main symptoms of this condition is an acute pain in the lower part of the foot near the heel.
But, the acute pain that tends to cause at the beginning becomes little by little more intense, especially when we spend a lot of time sitting or standing.
If you are suffering from this problem you should avoid physical activities such as running or jumping, as well as spending a lot of time standing.
